Favorite part about the job: Helping people! During my 20 years in the Navy, I take the most pride in those occasions where I could make a positive change is someone's life. In my business I am proud to have created 10 jobs, manufacture my product locally, and provide my customers a creative activity.

Favorite Virginia destination? Spending an afternoon at Harrison's Fishing Pier & anywhere on the Chesapeake Bay

First political memory? Going with my dad to a Ronald Reagan campaign rally.

Best advice you ever got? Think before you speak.

If you could have dinner with anyone currently living, whom would it be and why? Jimmy Carter. He is a fellow Naval Academy graduate who has dedicated his life to public service.

One thing most people would be surprised to learn about you? I've never said "no" to a challenge.

Ambition, political or otherwise? Serve in U.S. House of Representatives.

Favorite part about the PLP so far? Meeting and forging relationships a dynamic and diverse group of peers from around Virginia regardless of political affiliation.
