Sorensen Announces 2019 HSLP
The Sorensen Institute is thrilled to announce the participants in our 2019 High School Leaders Program. This class of students will live in Charlottesville on Grounds at UVA for two weeks and will participate in an intensive learning experience that will immerse them in Virginia politics, policy, governance, ethics in leadership, and bipartisanship. The HSLP is designed to help students build the knowledge and skills they need to step forward as leaders in their communities. We are excited to spend the summer with these excellent students!

We have extended the deadline to apply to the 2019 College Leaders Career Conference! We will now be accepting applications until midnight on Wednesday, May 15th.
We understand that this is a busy time of year for college students. From final exams, projects, papers, and graduation, we want to make sure any student interested in applying to the 2019 CLCC has enough time to complete their application!
Sorensen Announces 2019 CTP Participants
The Sorensen Institute is excited to announce the members of our 2019 Candidate Training Program. The CTP will meet March 21-24 in Millwood, Virginia, to learn about the fundamentals of running an ethical and winning campaign for public office.
Now Hiring 2019 Youth Program Managers
The Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership is seeking applicants to be Youth Program Managers in the summer of 2019 for its High School Leaders Program.
The two-week residential program takes place at the University of Virginia from July 13-27th.
Sorensen Leadership Awards
Nominations were open from November 15, 2018 to January 18, 2019 and produced excellent nominees from both sides of the aisle. Winners will be announced in mid-February, and awards will be presented at the Sorensen Gala on April 10.
Sorensen Institute Announces 2019 Political Leaders Program Class
The Sorensen Institute is excited to announce the members of the 2019 Political Leaders Program class. The class will begin in March in Williamsburg and meet for nine total sessions throughout Virginia. Members of the class will learn about Virginia politics, bipartisan policy solutions, and what unites our Commonwealth. Congratulations to all!
