Sarah Campbell is the Administrative Coordinator for the Sorensen Institute. She joined the Sorensen Institute full-time in May 2018.
Sarah graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Environmental Sustainability. As administrative coordinator, Sarah is responsible for logistical support for all programs, including recruitment and speaker scheduling. Previously, Sarah has served as a Program Assistant and Development Intern for the Sorensen Institute.

What brought you to the Cooper Center?
While I was a student at the University of Mary Washington, I interned for Sorensen. After graduation, I had an opportunity to work here part-time. I received the opportunity to work full-time a year later. I’ve been working full-time here for one year now!
What is something you are passionate about?
Where is the next place you would like to travel?
What is your most unusual talent?
I am able to think of a movie quote for just about any situation.
Who is your hero or inspiration?
The women running for any level office.
What is one food you could eat for the rest of your life?
Mac and cheese.
What is your favorite memory at the Cooper Center?
I enjoyed going into the coal mine during our Southwest weekend.
What does public service mean to you?
Being accessible and available to the greater good.
